  We love CCPlano! We have been attending this church for over 10 years now. Pastor Rick is a wonderful pastor and Bible teacher. We go verse by verse through the Bible. Calvary Chapel strives to know and to make know the heart and will of God. My family came to know salvation through Jesus Christ in this church and we continue to grow in our relationship with God. God loves you and has a plan for your life. We would love to have you join us at Calvary Chapel. God bless you.

  Calvary Chapel is a place where you can truly come as you are. One crucial aspect my husband and I have always seeked in a church is God's word. The teaching is verse by verse, allowing the Holy Spirit to move and speak in us as opposed to taking the opinion of a another person as truth. Everyone is transparent and loving, we have been so blessed by God through the church and our brothers/sisters here.

  We have been part of this church for 11 years. It has blessed us beyond belief. Christ is present in every ministry. The Bible is taught so anyone can understand it and love it and know that Christ died for us to have eternal life with Him. Pastor Rick is the perfect leader, always letting you know what the Word has to say about every subject, but knowing it is your choice to follow it.

  1. Pastor Rick and Eric Coburn teach and preach line-by-line through the whole Bible with understanding and humor. This is great since in almost all churches, preaching and teaching is scatter shot where the pastor picks his favorite verses and we never get help understanding the difficult parts of the Bible. The Coburns' method is a lot harder to do.
  
  2. I also noticed that the congregation is more involved in the church than other churches.
  
  3. The church does not do the "gimmicky" things to bring in the lukewarm and keep them happy. You won't get the "be-happy, rah rah, success in life" sermons, but you will get an intimate knowledge of God that you can only get from the study of all of God's word. And if we get that right, everything else falls into place.
